Your child may benefit from physiotherapy services for many reasons. I work with children and caregivers directly in your home, community, pool and riding arena. I liase with your other health care team professionals to work together to achieve your child's goals.

IN HOME PHYSIOTHERAPY

If your child needs physiotherapy, it is often easiest to work with them in a space that is familiar and comfortable to them - on their home turf!

I am able to travel to your home for assessments, treatments, equipment recommendations, and care worker training. I will bring what I need with me, and also use what you have within your home to easily duplicate exercises within your home setting.

PHYSIOTHERAPY INCORPORATING HIPPOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy treatments can be done with the help of a horse. The movements of a horse are extremely beneficial for the patient when properly and specifically led through different patterns and speeds. I can work with your child at GRACE therapeutic riding center utilizing this unique form of therapy. We often see children work on physiotherapy exercises more readily while on the horse - they don't realize that they are doing therapy, they just love riding a horse with Sandra!

PHYSIOTHERAPY IN PRIVATE CLINIC SETTING

Sometimes there are advantages to seeing a patient in a clinical setting in order to utilize specific equipment. I also work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Complete Wellness in Wiarton.
